COMUNITAT JUEVA ATID DE CATALUNYA

We are a progressive Jewish community which was born in Barcelona a little over ten years ago, to promote Jewish life and its cultural, educational, social and religious values.

We are the modern rebirth of Jewish life here, where 600 years ago it was almost extinguished. Just like our ancestors did then, we look to respond to the challenges of our times, with a dynamic Judaism, strengthening our identity, enrichening our lives and contributing to the society we live in.

We are a link in a chain: connected by ties of history and memory, origin and destination, with all the Jewish people wherever they are and, specially, with the State of Israel, the renewed center of the Jewish people.

We are ATID  -future in Hebrew- because today we are building our children’s and our community’s Jewish present and future.
