Day of Reflection October 7

From Atid, a Masorti Jewish community, we want to share, commemorate and reflect on the terrible and reprehensible events that occurred on October 7, 2023, when the terrorist group Hamas broke into Israel, causing the death and kidnapping of thousands of people, and triggering a war that still continues.

It is essential to create a space for meeting and support where we can express ourselves, accompany each other and comfort each other. We keep the memory of our dead alive and claim for those who are still captive.

We invite the community to share their personal experiences and reflections on these events. The possibility of listening to others allows us to redefine our own history and externalize the deep wounds that still affect us.

We will be joined by Michelle Wigdorovitz, a journalist who lived in Israel at the time.
