Candle lighting with Moriah Community

On December 29 th , in Rosh Hodesh Teveth, at 19:30, ATID lighted the sixth Hanuka candle together with Kehilat Moriah from Haifa. The connection of the event was through Skype which allowed all members to light the candles together. It was an honor for our community to light the sixth Hanuka candle with Kehilat Moriah, since this community was severely affected by the latest fires in Israel.

From ATID we send our best wishes to Kehilat Moriah and hope for the reconstruction of their synagogue and Community Center. We also wish to thank Rabi Dubi Hayiun, president of the Masortí Rabbinical Assembly, for the opportunity to bring the two communities closer.
