Solidarity Statement from the Masorti Atid Jewish Community of Catalonia with Israel

The Masorti Atid Jewish Community of Catalonia joins in solidarity with the people of Israel in this moment of deep pain and concern. We strongly condemn the recent attacks from Gaza, which have claimed the lives of more than 70 Israeli citizens and left more than 1,000 people injured. We are shocked by the loss of life and the distress this has caused the affected families. We reaffirm our unwavering support for Israel in its right to defend itself and guarantee the security of its citizens.

In these difficult times, we express our condolences to all the victims and their families, as well as to the Israeli nation as a whole. Our thoughts are with those who are suffering and we wish a speedy recovery to the injured.

We call on the international community to unite in condemning the violence and seeking a peaceful and lasting solution to this conflict. Peace and coexistence are goals that we must pursue tirelessly. We stand in solidarity with the people of Israel and hope that calm will soon be restored to the region.
