Sustainable ATID

On October 29 we had the first meeting to launch the initiative to build our synagogue. more sustainable using the EcoSynagogue framework as a starting point.

This is an initiative of Noah Fulton Beale, who was the brainstorming facilitator. about our current situation and what we want to work on in the future.

We notice that we already have a base of sustainable practices. For example, options vegetarian and vegan at our events, we recycle at the synagogue and it is common for Members and participants use sustainable transportation to attend events.

We share visions of a more sustainable ATID. For the future we see sustainability more integrated into the religious and ritual aspect, community members participating in reusing supplies and other resources, and our location is more efficient in the use of energy and water and using renewable resources.

We plan our first actions:
- share with the community the topics and ideas we discuss
- organize a follow-up meeting
- create a communication channel for the volunteer team
- prioritize specific elements to put into practice

NEXT MEETING
