Tu B'Shevat 2024 in Cabrera de Mar

LIMMUD BARCELONA and T'CHYIA project (initiatives of members of our community, Margot and Noah respectively) organized the traditional planting day for Sunday, February 4, in collaboration with DEPANA, a Catalan association for the defense of natural heritage. (www.depana.org)

This year we met in Can Parcala, Cabrera de Mar, to learn, work and share a spectacular sunny morning.
Xavi, a volunteer from the association, taught us how to use the tools and explained all the necessary steps to plant and water.

Because we are in the dry season we have planted few trees and shrubs.
We reflect on the scarcity of water and how we can contribute to responsible consumption and avoid the waste to which we are accustomed.

The morning culminated with a walk around the farm and a delicious, healthy meal.
